Meet Cierra
North Carolina raised. HR insider. Problem solver by design.
Raised alongside her brother by a single father who taught by example the power of hard work and trusting yourself, Cierra was described early on as "determined to do what I want to do." That hasn't changed. Today that determination is focused on fixing a broken system, one that almost killed her.
She graduated early with honors from UNC Greensboro in Political Science on a pre-law track, earned a Master's in Human Resources from the University of South Carolina, and built her career in HR at ExxonMobil, Google, and the startup ecosystem before founding Worklution.
Recognized as one of the most consequential emerging business minds of her generation, her work has been featured in Forbes, The Guardian, Yahoo, and beyond. She also serves on the Board of Directors of The Fair Path Project, extending her commitment to fair, accountable workplaces beyond her own companies. Outside of work, she stays grounded through workouts, reading, gardening, cooking, and time with the people she loves.
